Balancing Mobile Workshop OCT 9th in Toronto

In this workshop you will learn to create a balancing mobile inspired by the works of Alexander Calder - the inventor of mobiles.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to work with wire (bending, forming loops, cutting) to create pieces for your mobile

  • How to attach various paper shapes to your wire pieces

  • How to find the perfect balance points and arrange the wire pieces in a pleasing way

MATERIALS & TOOLS PROVIDED:

  • paper

  • wire

  • paper puncher

  • scissors

  • needles

  • pliers

  • wire cutter

  • metal hoops

WHAT TO BRING:

  • anything else that you want to incorparate into your mobile (any light objects)

  • your imagination

  • an open mind and heart

This workshop takes place Oct 9th from 6.30pm-9 pm at my home studio.
